GOMO, giga, SIMBA and Circles.Life are four competing mobile providers in Singapore. They may not be as big as Singtel or StarHub, but they do compete closely on price, data, calls, and texts. Then there are their plan inclusions to consider.
Before we compare these mobile providers, here’s a look at these mobile providers’ most popular plans today with at least 5GB of data.
GOMO, giga, SIMBA (TPG) and Circles.Life all operate on different mobile networks. GOMO is on Singtel, giga is on StarHub, Circles.Life is on M1 and SIMBA has its own mobile network. According to OpenSignal's Q4 2024 Mobile Network Experience Report, StarHub has the fastest download speed, tied with M1 for upload speed. When it comes to download speed, Singtel follows closely in second place, with M1 in third place. In both upload and download speeds, SIMBA (TPG) is the slowest overall.

Circles.Life has a 50GB plan available for $8, however, it costs an extra $8 upfront. It's a data-only plan too, which means calls or texts aren't included.

Here's a look at how these plans compare with other SIM-only plan providers:
GOMO vs giga vs SIMBA (TPG) vs Circles.Life: Data value
All of the mobile plans we’re comparing have at least 50GB of data. The best overall dollar-to-data value belongs to SIMBA.
The SIMBA SuperRoam SIM Only plan takes the top spot at $10 a month. This plan includes 280GB of data, unlimited local outbound calls, and 30 SMSes.
giga comes in at second place for best dollar-to-data value with their plans. For giga's 100GB SIM Only plan, you can expect to pay $10.19 every 30 days. You'll get 180GB of data, 300 local outbound minutes, and 300 messages. Close behind is GOMO's 4G Saver SIM Only plan. For $10.18 a month you'll get 88GB of data plus 100 local outbound minutes and 100 SMSes.
The best value plan from Circles.Life is their 50GB Data Only plan. You'll pay $8 a month, in addition to $8 upfront. What you see is what you get. This plan doesn't include calls or SMSes, just 50GB of data.
We advise sticking with SIMBA for the best dollar-to-data value overall. Alternatively, consider popular plans from other mobile providers in Singapore with at least 50GB of data.
GOMO vs giga vs SIMBA (TPG) vs Circles.Life: Calls value
The best overall call value for these competing mobile providers comes from SIMBA. If you like making calls in Singapore, the SIMBA SuperRoam 10 SIM Only plan comes with unlimited local call minutes for $10 a month.
giga comes in at second place with its 100GB SIM Only plan, which comes with 300 minutes of outgoing local calls for $10.19 a month. Incoming calls are also included as a plan perk. The third best value also comes from GOMO’s 5G+ Value SIM Only plan, which comes with 800 minutes of local outgoing calls. It costs $15.33 for the first three months, then $18.33 for every month after that.
Circles.Life's best value mobile plan for calls is the 250GB SIM Only 5G plan, which includes 300 minutes of outgoing local calls for $15 a month for the first three months, then $18 a month thereafter.
The best value mobile plan for calls is the SIMBA SuperRoam 10 SIM Only plan, which has unlimited outgoing local call minutes. Alternatively, here’s a list of popular mobile plans from other providers in Singapore with at least 500 minutes of calls.
GOMO vs giga vs SIMBA (TPG) vs Circles.Life: SMS value
The best dollar-to-SMS value comes from giga SIM-only mobile plans. The best SMS value comes from the giga 100GB SIM Only plan, which includes 300 outbound local SMSes for $10.19 a month. Next best is the SIMBA SuperRoam 12 SIM Only mobile plan with 100 outbound local SMSes.
Two GOMO plans make it into the top five for best dollar-to-SMS value. The GOMO 4G Saver plan has 100 outbound local SMSes for $10.19 a month, while the GOMO 5G+ Value SIM Only plan comes with 800 for $18.33 a month.
The best value Circles.Life plan is the 250GB SIM Only plan, which comes with 25 SMSes for $18. This number of SMSes is standard across Circles.Life mobile plans that include SMSes.
Alternatively, consider these popular plans from other mobile providers in Singapore with at least 100 SMSes.
GOMO vs giga vs SIMBA (TPG) vs Circles.Life: Regular inclusions
It’s standard for mobile providers in Singapore to offer plan add-ons at extra costs. These add-ons can include extra data, calls and SMSes, plus international direct dial (IDD) and data roaming. But we also like it when mobile providers offer valuable standard inclusions.
SIMBA (TPG) SIM-only mobile plans tend to come with at least 1GB of data roaming and IDD. More expensive SIMBA mobile plans come with bigger data roaming allowances, plus up to 400 IDD minutes. Circles.Life plans don’t tend to have many inclusions. The Circles.Life data-only plans do have free SIM delivery, while more expensive Circles.Life mobile plans come with data rollover.
All giga plans come with data rollover, plus a $2 referral fee for anyone you successfully refer to the mobile provider. GOMO mobile plans include caller ID, plus SIM delivery and access to the GOMO Rewards programme.
Because the value of plan inclusions is personal preference, there’s no clear winner here.
