The cheapest plans from Gomo, Giga, Simba (TPG) and Circles.Life are all under $20. All four mobile providers have SIM-only mobile plans with 30-day durations. Simba has the cheapest but it’s only available to those aged 60 and older.

The cheapest plan of the four mobile providers, which is available to everybody, is the Circles.Life 2GB SIM Only Plan. It costs $5 every 30 days for 2GB of data, 5 minutes of incoming and outgoing local calls, plus 25 SMSes. Simba has the next cheapest widely available plan, which costs $10 every 30 days for 50GB of base data, plus 300 minutes of outgoing local calls and 30 outbound local SMSes.

For Giga users, the cheapest available plan costs $10 for 10GB of data every 30 days. It also includes 500 minutes of outgoing local calls and 500 local outbound SMSes. Meanwhile, Gomo users pay $18 every 30 days for 50GB of base data, 500 minutes of outgoing local calls and 500 outbound local SMSes.

The most expensive SIM-only mobile plan from Gomo costs $25 per 30 days for 60GB of base data on the Singtel 5G network. This plan comes with 1,000 minutes of outgoing local calls and 1,000 outbound local SMSes. It’s the same price for Simba’s most expensive plan, which comes with 100GB of data, 500 minutes of outgoing local calls and 100 outbound local SMSes.

The priciest Circles.Life plan costs $38 every 30 days for 100GB of data, unlimited local calls and 25 SMSes. Giga’s most expensive plan costs $45 every 30 days for 100GB of base data, 10,000 minutes of outgoing local calls and 10,000 outbound local SMSes.

Simba has the cheapest plan overall and Gomo is the cheapest for the pricier SIM Only mobile plans.

Here's a look at how these plans compare with other SIM Only plan providers:

Gomo vs Giga vs Simba (TPG) vs Circles.Life: Data value

Outside of the two cheapest Circles.Life SIM-only mobile plans, all of the mobile plans we’re comparing have at least 10GB of data. But the best overall dollar-to-data value is a split win between Simba (TPG) and Circles.Life.

The Simba 50GB SIM Only plan and the Circles.Life 50GB Data Only plan have identical dollar-to-data value every 30 days. That said, the Circles.Life plan doesn’t include calls or SMSes. It also has an $8 upfront fee.

Simba and Circles.Life also take out the second and third places for best dollar-to-data value with their plans. The Simba 80GB SIM Only plan is second, while the Circles.Life 130GB Data Only plan is in third.

The best value plan from the other two mobile providers is the Gomo 4G Value Plan (50GB) and the Giga 50GB SIM Only plan. We advise sticking with Simba for the best dollar-to-data value overall.

Alternatively, consider popular plans from other mobile providers in Singapore with at least 50GB of data.

Gomo vs Giga vs Simba (TPG) vs Circles.Life: Calls value

The best overall call value for these competing mobile providers comes from Circles.Life. If you like making calls in Singapore, the Circles.Life 100GB SIM Only plan comes with unlimited local call minutes.

Giga is in second place with its 100GB SIM Only plan, which comes with 10,000 minutes of outgoing local calls. Incoming calls are included as a plan perk. The third best value also comes from Giga, with its 60GB SIM Only plan, which has 2,000 minutes of outgoing local calls.

Gomo’s best value mobile plan for calls is the SIM Only 5G plan, which comes with 1,000 minutes of local outgoing calls. Incoming calls with Gomo are included. The best value Simba (TPG) mobile plan for calls is the 20GB Seniors Go Digital plan, but that’s not available to everyone. For one that is freely available, consider the Simba 50GB SIM Only plan, which has 300 minutes of outgoing local call minutes.

Giga has the best overall value for calls across its plans. Alternatively, here’s a list of popular mobile plans from other providers in Singapore with at least 500 minutes of calls.

Gomo vs Giga vs Simba (TPG) vs Circles.Life: SMS value

By far, the best dollar-to-SMS value comes from Giga SIM-only mobile plans. The best SMS value comes from the Giga 100GB SIM Only plan, which has 10,000 outbound local SMSes. Next best is the Giga 60GB SIM Only mobile plan with 2,000 outbound local SMSes. Then there’s the Giga 10GB SIM Only Pop-Up Plan, which comes with 500 outbound local SMSes.

Two Gomo plans make it into the top five for best dollar-to-SMS value. The Gomo SIM Only 5G plan has 1,000 outbound local SMSes, while the Gomo 4G Value Plan comes with 500. Simba’s best value SMS plan is the 20GB Seniors Go Digital plan with 30 SMSes, but the Simba SuperRoam 100GB plan is available to everyone and comes with 100 SMSes.

The best value Circles.Life plan is the 2GB SIM Only plan, which comes with 25 SMSes. This number of SMSes is standard across Circles.Life mobile plans.

Alternatively, consider these popular plans from other mobile providers in Singapore with at least 500 SMSes.

Gomo vs Giga vs Simba (TPG) vs Circles.Life: Regular inclusions

It’s standard for mobile providers in Singapore to offer plan add-ons at extra costs. These extras can add extra data, calls and SMSes, plus international direct dial (IDD) and data roaming. But we also like it when mobile providers offer valuable standard inclusions.

Simba (TPG) SIM-only mobile plans tend to come with at least 1GB of data roaming and caller ID. More expensive Simba mobile plans come with bigger data roaming allowances, plus 300 IDD minutes. Circles.Life plans don’t tend to have many inclusions. The Circles.Life data-only plans do have free SIM delivery, while more expensive Circles.Life mobile plans come with data rollover.

All Giga plans come with data rollover, plus a $2 referral fee for anyone you successfully refer to the mobile provider. Gomo mobile plans include caller ID, plus SIM delivery and access to the Gomo Rewards programme.

Because the value of plan inclusions is personal preference, there’s no clear winner here.
