StarHub is one of four mobile network operators in Singapore, alongside Singtel, M1 and SIMBA. The mobile provider also has giga, eight, and redONE as sub-brands. StarHub has been operating in Singapore for more than 25 years.

As a StarHub customer, you’ll have access to SIM-only mobile plans for BYO devices or as part of postpaid bundles. StarHub also caters to prepaid mobile users and those after broadband home internet. Mobile plans are offered as contract or contract-free options, and the more you pay, the more data, call minutes and messages you get.

StarHub SIM-only plans

StarHub offers two main SIM-only plans. Both plans have access to the StarHub 5G mobile network and operate on 30-day cycles. The Medium 5G SIM Only plan is the cheaper one, and it costs $22 per 30 days. That pricing is for the first two years, after which the plan costs $25.23 per 30 days. You’ll get 150GB of data with 1,000 local call minutes, plus 500 SMS for local and international use. For cheaper 5G SIM-only plans with more data, call minutes and/or messages, consider comparable plans from M1, MyRepublic and giga.

To help you compare, below is a snapshot of popular plans from our database with at least 150GB of data, 1,000 call minutes and 500 SMS.

StarHub’s other SIM-only mobile plan costs $32 per 30 days for 200GB of data. Users also get 1,500 local call minutes, 750 local and international SMS, plus 2GB of data roaming for Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand. Of the plans we track in our database, only StarHub’s sub-brand giga has a cheaper 5G SIM-only plan with more data.

For comparison, here’s a list of popular SIM-only plans from our database with at least 200GB of data.

StarHub phone and device plans

StarHub offers different plans for users looking to pair a mobile plan with a device, which includes smartphones, smartwatches and tablets. In terms of smartphones, StarHub offers popular options like the Apple iPhone 16 and Samsung Galaxy S25, alongside other Apple and Samsung models, plus alternatives from Huawei, Oppo and Xiaomi. You can choose either 12-month or 24-month device repayment terms if you pair a StarHub SIM-only plan with an eligible device.

Alternatively, if you opt for a 24-month contract, StarHub phone and device plans operate on monthly cycles. There are four to choose from, all of which have free incoming calls, offer StarHub eSIM and have access to StarHub’s 5G network, plus an international roaming data allowance. Prices start at $75 for the cheapest contract device plan with 200GB of data, and the most expensive costs $185 per month for 350GB of data. All of these contract plans also include a StarHub International Roaming Subscription, one month of GeForce Now game streaming service and three months of Amazon Prime.

StarHub prepaid plans

StarHub offers a few prepaid plans for customers looking to stay in control of their monthly mobile bill, all of which operate on the StarHub 4G network. The main prepaid plan costs $25 per 28-day recharge. This StarHub prepaid plan comes with 80GB of data (76GB local, plus 4GB roaming), 5,000 local call minutes, 200 local SMS, and $100 of International Direct Dial (IDD) credit. It also has 10GB of bonus data on Sundays (up to 40GB per recharge). For alternatives with more local data, look at comparable prepaid plans from SIMBA, M1 and eight.

StarHub’s other 28-day prepaid plan costs $10 for 10GB of data, with 500 local call minutes and 50 local SMS. SIMBA has a cheaper plan with more data (and a 30-day expiry) for the same price. StarHub also has two short-expiry prepaid plans, neither of which include call minutes or SMS. The seven-day prepaid plan costs $8 for 1GB, while the three-day alternative costs $5 for 1GB.
