Which ViewQwest fibre broadband speed is best?

Broadband plans in Singapore are among the fastest in the world, and ViewQwest is the fastest according to Ookla’s Speedtest Awards. Providers offer symmetrical download and upload speeds. This means a 1Gbps plan can reach download and upload speeds of up to 1Gbps. All broadband internet connections in Singapore are suitable for emails, web browsing, social media and online gaming.

Consider 200Mbps or 300Mbps plans for further savings (where offered). ViewQwest doesn’t offer plans below 1Gbps, though.

Here are some other common uses for different fibre broadband internet speeds in Singapore (bold speeds are available from ViewQwest fibre broadband plans):

  • 200Mbps: Multiple 4K video streams, fast file transfers, multiple game streams
  • 300Mbps: More 4K video streams, faster file transfers, more game streams
  • 500Mbps: 4K streams for all devices, faster still file transfers, game streams for all devices
  • 1Gbps: all of the above, seamless cloud interaction, small business-grade internet speeds
  • 2Gbps: all of the above, separate personal/work internet, medium business-grade internet speeds
  • 10Gbps: all of the above, enterprise-grade internet speeds
