If you’re in the market for home internet, there are seven main providers to choose from. StarHub, M1, Singtel, MyRepublic and SIMBA are popular fibre broadband providers that also sell SIM-only mobile plans. ViewQwest and WhizComms are the two other fibre broadband providers worth considering. All fibre broadband providers in Singapore offer home internet plans with unlimited data.
Best fibre broadband internet provider overall
The best fibre broadband internet provider in Singapore right now is WhizComms. SIMBA used to have the top spot, but since they ditched their no-contract, no-upfront fee offering in favour of a contracted plan with a hefty upfront payment, the playing field has opened way up. This WhizComms plan offers a whopping 10Gbps bandwidth for just $29.99 per month on a 12-month contract. There's a $115.54 upfront fee, but you also get 180 days of free Entertainment Plus on CAST.SG. However, you will need to bring your own router, and there's also no home phone line included, though that won't be a deal-breaker for most.

There's no activation fees, so it works out at $29.98 per month, making it cheaper than comparable plans from WhizComms.

It also regularly wins in four of five OpenSignal report categories: Download Speed, Peak Download Speed, Consistent Quality and Video Experience. Currently, the cheapest entry point into MyRepublic and its superior speeds is the 3Gbps Ultra No Frills plan, which costs $37.99 per month and $120.94 upfront.

Best no-frills (BYO router) fibre broadband internet provider
One of the common fibre broadband plan add-ons in Singapore is a compatible router. If you’re moving from one provider to another, you may already have a compatible router and can potentially save money on a plan by opting for a no-frills plan.
Our best cheap plan from ViewQwest is a great choice. Not only is it one of the cheapest plans in our database, but it also boasts a solid 3Gbps bandwidth and includes free modem rental.

Best fibre broadband internet provider for customer satisfaction
Because all internet providers use the same NetLink Trust fibre network to connect homes in Singapore, it’s important to look for other points of difference. In the end, we're giving the win to WhizComms for its slightly higher customer service score and cheaper prices.
