M1 Maxx, as the name implies, is a sub-brand of M1. Maxx is exclusively focused on providing competitively priced SIM-only mobile plans in Singapore. The telco doesn’t offer any prepaid plans. There may only be a few SIM-only choices, but they’re all priced under $20 for 30-day, zero-contract plans.
Maxx doesn’t offer mobile phones to pair with plans, but all of Maxx’s SIM-only plans come with hundreds of gigabytes of data and international roaming data. At the time of writing, Maxx wasn’t offering 5G support for its plans, but the Maxx website says it’s coming soon. Until then, all Maxx plans operate on the M1 4G network.
Here’s a breakdown of the most popular M1 Maxx plans in our database.
M1 Maxx mobile plans
M1 Maxx only has three SIM-only plans, all of which have no contracts and operate on 30-day billing cycles. They all operate on the M1 4G network and have unlimited incoming calls as well as free caller number display, plus a $0 SIM card with free delivery. There’s no word on whether Maxx supports eSIM, though Maxx’s owner M1 does. Base plan data is shareable in Singapore and Malaysia across plans.
The cheapest M1 Maxx plan is the 290GB SIM Only one, which costs $9.90 every 30 days, but it may be cheaper if you’re porting in from another mobile provider. This M1 Maxx plan comes with 290GB of data, 500 local call minutes and 99 local SMS. You also get 10GB of APAC roaming to five destinations (Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Taiwan) and 2GB of international roaming to 24 international locations. In terms of comparable plans in our database, this Maxx plan is the cheapest for options with at least 290GB of data, although Zero1 and SIMBA offer slightly pricier plans with more data. The next Maxx plan is the 300GB SIM Only, which costs $14 for 30 days. Buy it and you’ll get 300GB of data, 500 local call minutes and 50 local SMS. It also comes with 2GB of APAC roaming data to those same five destinations from the cheaper Maxx plan. Compared to plans in our database, there are cheaper options from Zero1 and SIMBA for at least 300GB of data, while MyRepublic has hundreds of gigabytes more for not much extra cost. The priciest M1 Maxx plan is the 400GB SIM Only, which costs $18 every 30 days. It includes 400GB of data, unlimited local calls and 50 local SMS. You’ll also get 4GB of APAC roaming data to those same five destinations in the cheaper plans. Comparatively, it’s not the cheapest option for 400GB of data in our database: MyRepublic has a couple of cheaper plans, as does eight and SIMBA, all of which have more data.
