The Google Pixel 9a is set to land on Singaporean shores on April 16, bringing the bulk of the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro's flagship AI features to a more affordable price range.

Though priced at $50 more than last year's Pixel 8a, the redesigned Pixel 9a has a 35% brighter display, putting it on par with that found on the main Pixel 9 series. Other key specs include a refresh rate of up to 120Hz for smoother scrolling, IP68 dust and water resistance, 8GB RAM, and a dual 48MP wide and 13MP ultrawide camera system. It will launch with Android 15 and runs on the same Google Tensor G4 chipset as the more expensive Pixel 9.

Additionally, Google claims the Pixel 9a boasts the best battery life of any Pixel yet, with an estimated 30 hours of battery life and 100 hours with Extreme Battery Saver switched on. The company also announced that the Pixel 9a will receive seven years of OS updates, security updates and feature drops.

Priced at $799 for the 128GB model and $939 for the 256GB model, the Pixel 9a is available in four colours: Iris, Peony, Porcelain and Obsidian. Locally, it will be available for purchase from the Google Store, Singtel, Amazon, Shopee, Lazada, and more.
